AWLC Church Family, Partners, and Friends; yesterday Governor Brian Kemp announced that certain businesses and places of Worship could reopen but following the rules of Social Distancing that has been in place.
As Senior Pastor of AWLC, it is with prayer and heartfelt compassion I believe God would have us to continue to SHELTER IN PLACE. You are my first concern and priority. I have carefully talked with the Board Leaders of AWLC it is our responsibility to ensure that you are safe.
As your leaders, we will prayerfully put together a plan of action to reopen our church at the appropriate time. At this time, we will not gather physically for church services, we will continue to worship and study God’s word virtually until we know it is clear to enter the house of our Lord again. Until such time, please continue to take this time for personnel growth. I encourage you to take the necessary precaution to protect yourself and your family and all those you love. We are family regardless of whether we are in a building or not.
Thank you for your participation in attending virtual church service, bible study, leadership and department meetings, and for your prayers and generous giving during this pandemic.
Should any of you need me or any of the Leadership Team please do not hesitate to give us a call, we are here for you all in whatever capacity necessary.
Love and appreciation,
Pastor Cheryl Minter
